Xipamide (Diurexan)

The typical dosage of Xipamide is usually once a day in the morning. Your doctor may adjust the dose according to your specific condition. If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose. Each Xipamide tablet contains 10 mg of xipamide as the active ingredient. The tablet also includes excipients such as lactose, maize starch, and magnesium stearate. These components help form the tablet and ensure its stability.  

Common side effects of Xipamide may include dizziness, headaches, or muscle cramps. However, if you experience severe side effects like severe dizziness, fainting, or signs of electrolyte imbalance such as muscle weakness, notify your doctor promptly. In rare cases, Xipamide can cause serious allergic reactions or liver problems. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice symptoms like rash, swelling, difficulty breathing, or yellowing of the skin/eyes. 

Do not use Xipamide if you are allergic to xipamide or any of the other ingredients.
