Condyline is a solution used to treat genital warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Its active ingredient, podophyllotoxin, works by stopping the growth of the warts, allowing your body to fight the virus effectively. This treatment is suitable for adults with external genital warts.

Dosage and usage

You should apply Condyline directly to the warts twice a day for three consecutive days. Avoid using it on healthy skin. If needed, your healthcare provider may repeat the treatment after a break. Remember not to exceed the recommended dosage, and if you experience any adverse effects or if the warts persist, consult your doctor promptly.

What Condyline contains

Each milliliter of Condyline solution contains 5 mg of podophyllotoxin as the active ingredient. Other components include ethanol and lactic acid.

Side effects

Common side effects of Condyline may include skin irritation, redness, and pain at the application site. However, seek immediate medical help if you experience severe burning, ulceration, or signs of an allergic reaction like swelling or difficulty breathing.

Precautions

Do not use Condyline if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to podophyllotoxin. Avoid its use if you have open wounds in the area.
