However, if it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Each gram of Betnovate cream contains 1 mg of betamethasone valerate (equivalent to 1.2 mg of betamethasone). The other ingredients include cetostearyl alcohol, chlorocresol, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, sodium acid phosphate, phosphoric acid, and purified water.
Common side effects of Betnovate may include itching, burning, dryness, or redness at the application site. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include thinning skin, stretch marks, changes in skin color, or allergic reactions like rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, or trouble breathing.
Do not use Betnovate if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Avoid applying it to broken or infected skin, acne, rosacea, or nappy rash.
