Wegovy tablet is a prescription medicine that can help adults with overweight or obesity manage their weight. It is usually recommended for people who have difficulty losing weight through diet and exercise alone. This medicine is designed to be used alongside a healthy lifestyle, so it is important to continue eating well and staying active. Wegovy tablet works over the long term and is not intended as a quick fix or for short-term use. It contains semaglutide, which acts like a natural hormone in the body to help you feel fuller sooner and reduce your appetite, making it easier to eat less and lose weight. Results may vary from person to person. Wegovy tablet should not be used by children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

Dosage and usage

Take one Wegovy tablet daily, preferably at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with up to 120 ml of water, without chewing or breaking it. Take it on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before breakfast, and do not eat or drink anything else for 30 minutes after taking it. Always follow the dosing schedule provided by your doctor. If you miss a dose, skip the missed tablet and take your next dose at the usual time—never take a double dose. If you take too much, contact your doctor straight away. Do not stop using this medicine without consulting your doctor, as stopping may reduce its effect on your weight. Store below 30°C in the original packaging to protect from moisture, and keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date on the packaging.
