Spedra is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. The active ingredient in Spedra is avanafil, which belongs to a class of drugs known as PDE5 inhibitors. Avanafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, helping you achieve and maintain an erection. Spedra is suitable for men with ED caused by various factors such as neurogenic, vascular, or psychological issues.

Dosage and usage

You should take Spedra exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. The typical starting dose is 100 mg, taken orally, approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended dose is 200 mg once daily. It's important not to exceed the prescribed dosage to avoid potential side effects. If you experience an erection lasting more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical help.

Precautions

Before taking Spedra, inform your doctor about any medical conditions you have, especially if you have heart problems or are taking medications like nitrates or alpha-blockers. Do not take Spedra if you are allergic to avanafil or any of the tablet components. Spedra is intended for adult men only and should not be used by women or children. If you have certain health conditions such as sickle cell anemia or a penile implant, Spedra may not be suitable for you.
