Dosage and usage
The usual dose of Qvar for adults and children over 12 years old is 1 or 2 puffs twice a day. Your doctor may adjust your dose based on your asthma severity. Remember to rinse your mouth with water after using Qvar to prevent throat irritation. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
