Kliofem

About Kliofem

Kliofem is a hormone replacement therapy containing estradiol and norethisterone. It is designed to alleviate menopausal symptoms in women, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness. The active ingredients in Kliofem mimic the hormones that your body naturally produces, helping to restore hormonal balance during menopause. This treatment is suitable for women experiencing menopausal symptoms like irregular periods and mood swings.

Dosage and usage

You should take one tablet of Kliofem daily at the same time each day. Follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider carefully. It's important not to exceed the prescribed dosage. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose. The effects of Kliofem can last throughout the day, providing continuous relief from menopausal symptoms. If you experience severe side effects or if your symptoms worsen, contact your doctor.

What Kliofem contains

Each Kliofem tablet contains 1 mg of estradiol and 0.5 mg of norethisterone. In addition to the active ingredients, Kliofem tablets also contain excipients like lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, and hypromellose.

Side effects

Common side effects of Kliofem may include breast tenderness, headaches, and nausea. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention can include chest pain, vision changes, and signs of a blood clot such as swelling or redness in the legs. If you experience any severe side effects, seek medical help promptly.

Precautions

Do not use Kliofem if you have a history of blood clots, liver disease, or breast cancer. This medication is not suitable for pregnant women or individuals with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding. If you have a history of heart disease, stroke, or are on certain medications like blood thinners, consult your doctor before using Kliofem to ensure it is safe for you.
