  • Contains beclometasone and formoterol
  • Use daily as prescribed by your doctor
  • Not suitable for sudden breathlessness

This inhaled medicine may be used to treat asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). It contains two active substances that work together and may help reduce shortness of breath, wheezing, and other airway symptoms. It is intended for people who do not get enough benefit from using only an anti-inflammatory medicine or a bronchodilator. It is not intended as an emergency treatment for sudden breathing problems, but for daily use to help prevent symptoms and keep them under control. Results may vary from person to person. Using this inhaler may make daily life easier by reducing airway symptoms, but it is important to use the medicine exactly as prescribed for the best possible effect.

Dosage and usage

Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose for asthma is 1 to 2 inhalations twice daily. For COPD, the recommended dose is 2 inhalations twice daily. Inhale deeply and strongly through the mouthpiece. Do not swallow the capsules. Use the inhaler every day, even if you have no symptoms. Rinse your mouth with water after use to help prevent irritation and fungal infections. Check the leaflet for instructions on cleaning the device.

If you take too much, do not take more than prescribed. If you develop severe symptoms such as palpitations or trembling, contact a doctor straight away. If you forget a dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the usual time. Do not take a double dose. Do not stop using this medicine without speaking to your doctor, as your symptoms may return or get worse.
