About Colofac
Dosage and usage
For adults, the usual dose is one tablet three times a day. You should take the tablet before meals with a glass of water. Do not take more than 3 tablets a day. If you forget a dose, just take the next dose at the usual time. If you take too much Colofac, contact your doctor or nearest hospital. If your symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks of treatment, consult your doctor.
What Colofac contains
Each Colofac tablet contains 135 mg of Mebeverine Hydrochloride as the active ingredient. Other ingredients include lactose, maize starch, polyvidone, talc, magnesium stearate, sucrose, gelatin, acacia, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide (E171), and iron oxide red (E172).
Side effects
Common side effects of Colofac may include headache, dizziness, or gastrointestinal disturbances. Serious side effects are rare but may include allergic reactions such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing. Precautions
